Tweed Shire Council is inviting residents to go behind the scenes during Local Government Week 2025, with a full week of free tours, talks and community events from Monday 4 to Sunday 10 August.
The program showcases the 53 services Council delivers to help the Tweed live well, from clean water and vibrant parks to waste management, environmental care and more.
Mayor of Tweed Shire Chris Cherry said the week was a great chance to connect with Council in a more hands-on and meaningful way.
"Local Government Week is a wonderful chance for our community to discover the wide range of services Council provides and how these services make a difference throughout the Tweed," Cr Cherry said.
"It's also a valuable opportunity for us to highlight the many ways we support and deliver for our residents, showcasing initiatives that protect our environment, promote wellbeing and build stronger connections."
