Courts reopen at Mill Park Basketball Stadium

Lace up your sneakers - all four courts at Mill Park Basketball Stadium have reopened as construction continues to improve the facility's accessibility and sustainability.

The latest upgrades include updated access to the grandstand and scorer's benches, as well as new windows, internal walls and ceilings. New flooring under the grandstand is also complete, as Council prepares for the upcoming stage of construction, which will feature an electrical upgrade and the installation of cabinetry.

The much-anticipated upgrade of Mill Park Basketball Stadium will see new female and family change rooms installed, seating upgrades, accessible public toilets, a modern kitchen and fit-for purpose spaces to help the local association and clubs grow.

The upgrade of Mill Park Basketball Stadium is being delivered by the City of Whittlesea with the support of the Victorian Government's Community Sports Infrastructure Stimulus Program.

Mill Park Basketball Stadium is located at Redleap Reserve, Redleap Avenue, Mill Park.
