Covid-19 Update 17 March 2020

Two people in South Australia have today tested positive for COVID-19. There have now been a total of 32 confirmed cases in South Australia.

Today's confirmed cases are:

  • Male, 30s, overseas travel to Germany
  • Male, 60s, overseas travel to the USA and close contact of a confirmed case

Only travel details relevant to when individual cases were infectious will be released, once they are available.

All COVID-19 testing clinics are now operating seven days a week, with 636 people tested yesterday across the five sites and a total of 2,510 people tested overall.

South Australia's first regional COVID-19 testing clinic has opened today at Mt Barker District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital so people in the area have access to timely testing and treatment.
