COVID19 update 25 May 2020

The Department of Health has reported four new cases of COVID-19 overnight, bringing the State's total to 564.

All four cases are from one family who returned from overseas and are in hotel quarantine.

As with all cases, contact tracing is carried out to ensure all close contacts have been notified and are self-isolating.

There are now six active cases in Western Australia and no active cases in regional WA.

To date, 549 people have recovered from the virus in WA and there are no confirmed COVID-19 patients in Perth hospitals.

A total of 77,501 COVID-19 tests have been performed in WA. Of those, 13,740 tests were carried out in regional WA.
