Cr Anna De Villiers - Carisbrook Mercury

One of my first comments when interviewed by The Carisbrook Mercury was, that I would like to establish trust and a trusting relationship with constituents in Carisbrook first and foremost and then also the greater Central Goldfields Shire.

I endeavour to be available and love meeting with people. I am a great believer in the power of communication and social interaction.

The Carisbrook Community Conversations flowed from this belief in the power of engaging and communicating.

The Carisbrook Community Conversations started very informally 13 months ago, when I had my first meet and greet under the old oak tree in front of the Carisbrook Town Hall.

From this meeting flowed the idea to start a more formal conversation platform for Carisbrook. Even though it is called the Carisbrook Conversations, everybody living in the Central Goldfields Shire is welcome to attend.

The intention is to hold these meetings once every three months.

The first meeting for 2022 will be held on Thursday 10 March 2022, at 7pm at the Carisbrook Lion's Club.
