A Cranbourne woman was shaken out of her winter slump after receiving the life-changing call informing her she'd won $2.2 million in yesterday's Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Melbourne resident scored the Jackpot Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1786, drawn Thursday 2 July 2026, taking home a total prize of $2,200,017.00.
"Wow. That's amazing. Thank you!" she said when we revealed the multi-million-dollar news straight after the draw.
"Gosh, I don't know what to say. I'm speechless.
"I have the day off today, so I'll be able to kick back and let this all sink in.
"I can't wait to tell my partner. How amazing.
"This means we'll be able to buy a house. It's been on our mind for a while.
"We might have to go out for dinner to celebrate. I'd also love to do a holiday. Definitely somewhere warm.
"What a shock! Thank you so much."
Her winning entry of two random numbers was purchased on The Lott website - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
