Crane lifting operations as part of the Ken Allen Field lighting upgrade are scheduled to take place on Thursday 26 February and Friday 27 February, between 8:30am and 4pm each day.
Six crane lifts will be completed over this period to support installation works. To ensure public safety, a general exclusion zone will be in place during all lifts. The exclusion zone applies to all non-contracted personnel, including dogs and other pets.
During these dates, convenient access to Ken Allen Field may be limited.
Multiple areas of the reserve may be temporarily closed at the same time, reducing the space available for public use.
Residents are encouraged to consider alternative dog walking areas where possible while works are underway.
The upgrade will provide LED lighting to support sport participation and community activities at the reserve. We thank the community for their patience as these important lighting upgrades are completed.
