Police are investigating the circumstances that lead to a crash at Clearview early this morning.
Just before 2.30am, Tuesday 31 December, patrols responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Hampstead and Grand Junction. On arrival patrols located a silver Holden Astra on fire and no occupants in the car.
PD Nero and his handler attended the scene and searched the area but could not locate the driver.
Investigations are continuing.
