CRDC's Ruth Redfern graduates from ARLP

CRDC's senior communications manager Ruth Redfern graduated from the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation's flagship leadership program, the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP), last week.

The ARLP is a 15-month leadership development program which immerses participants in a series of unique experiences to develop their leadership capabilities for the greater good of rural, regional and remote Australia.

Ruth participated in Course 27 of the program, with support from CRDC, Cotton Australia and Australian Food and Fibre (formerly Auscott Ltd).

The cotton industry has a long history of supporting the ARLP, having sponsored at least one participant in 26 of the 28 courses run to date. Ruth joins recent cotton industry ARLP Fellows: Chantal Corish and Rod Gordon (C26); Fleur Anderson and John Durham (C25); and Richard Malone and Tim Chaffey (C24).

ARLF alumni are well known for their contributions to the industry, including: Ian Taylor, Allan Williams, Barb Grey, Sharon Downes, Adam Kay, Brooke Summers, Harvey Gaynor, Bernie George, Liz Stott, Paul McVeigh, John Hamparsum, Bruce Finney, Bron Christensen, Phil Armytage, Michael Murray, Arthur Spellson, Paula Jones, Dave Anthony, Stefan Henggeler and Mike Logan AM.
