Creating safer clubs and workplaces in Cardinia Shire

Local business and sports and recreation clubs are invited to a free evening edition of Together We Can's Community Leadership Summit.

The event will address ways in which clubs and workplaces can create cultures and environments that increase participation and keep members safe and free from violence and abuse.

Participants will enjoy a free meal while they hear from keynote speakers, including:

  • The Men's Project: Unpacking the man box

    Supporting boys and men to live respectful, accountable, and fulfilling lives, free from violence and other harmful behaviours.

  • Phil Cleary: Culture and Environments that helps everyone thrive

    Phil Cleary is an equality advocate, former teacher, and independent member of the Australian Parliament. Since the murder of his 25-year-old sister, Vicki, in 1987, Phil has been at the forefront of the campaign to stop violence against women.

The evening will also feature tailor-made presentations from WIRE, Worksafe and Monash Health:
