Credit card used after theft from Epping building site

Whittlesea Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after stolen credit cards were used to purchase goods in Thomastown earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

The credit cards were stolen from a construction site on McKellar Way, in Epping when two men broke into an excavator and stole a bag on 20 June at 5.30am.

Less than ten minutes later the stolen cards were used at two Thomastown service stations on Dalton Road, where the men purchased cigarettes.

Investigators have released images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
