Crime convoy in Drouin West

Detectives from Baw Baw Crime investigation Unit are hoping to identify a man and a woman after police attempted intercept a convoy of vehicles in Drouin West last week.

Officers attempted to intercept the three vehicles which were believed to be travelling in convoy about 11.50om on 22 April.

All three vehicles failed to stop for police and sped off.

Subsequent investigating revealed one of the vehicles, a large white removalist type truck, was towing a generator which had been stolen from Ringwood premises the day before.

Another vehicle, a white single cab tip truck, was towing a caravan which is believed to have been stolen from Keysborough, also on 21 April.

The other vehicle was believed to be a BMW SUV that was towing a trailer.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a man and a woman who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The woman is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 160 to 170cm tall, with a medium build, long blonde hair and aged in her 30s.

The man is also perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, about 180 to 190cm tall, with a slim build, short brown hair and aged in his 30s.
