A critical incident investigation has been launched following the death of a man on Sydney’s northern beaches last night.
Police were called to a home on Mona Vale Road, Ingleside just after 9.35pm (Saturday 17 August 2019), after reports of a domestic-related incident.

Police applied first aid, before the 53-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition, where he died a short time later.
A crime scene has been established at the home which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.
A Critical Incident Investigation Team from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad will now investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation will be subject to independent review.
All information will be provided for the information of the Coroner.
