Crowd disturbance at Pooraka, South Australia

One man was assaulted and another man cautioned for disorderly behaviour during a disturbance at Pooraka last night.

Police and paramedics were called to a licensed premises on Bridge Road, Pooraka just after 10.30pm on Friday 29 April by reports a man had been assaulted and knocked unconscious.

The 32-year-old man was treated for a head injury and taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening and police will speak with him later today.

A large crowd left the venue following a live act and police, watched from above by PolAir, helped to disperse the crowd from Royal Avenue.

A 23-year-old Lewiston man was arrested for disorderly behaviour. He was issued with a formal caution by police.
