Crown land holiday parks get top ratings from TripAdvisor

Crown land holiday parks have earned badges of honour with a range of parks rated top 'Travellers' Choice 2022' destinations by online travel platform, Tripadvisor.

Reflections Holiday Parks manages 37 holiday parks and 43 community reserves on Crown land across the state with profits reinvested back into the 9,289 hectares of land it manages on behalf of the people of NSW.

Twenty-two Reflections Holiday Parks throughout coastal and country NSW have been named Travellers' Choice 2022 locations after ranking in the top 10 per cent of properties on Tripadvisor and consistently receiving great guest reviews over the last 12 months.

Tripadvisor is an important guide for guests making decisions about holiday experiences, so the commendations will help promote the parks' as go-to places while highlighting the quality of regional NSW tourism.

Minister for Lands and Water Kevin Anderson said the Travellers' Choice 2022 commendations would boost tourism in regions like the New England and North West where holiday parks are located adjacent to Lake Keepit and Copeton Dams.

"The Lake Keepit and Copeton Waters parks play a huge role as important recreation centres and tourism drawcards for communities surrounding Tamworth, Gunnedah, Inverell and Armidale," Mr Anderson said.

"Our dams are 2-3 times the size of Sydney Harbour and are vital for water supplies, with the adjoining Reflections parks providing brilliant holiday locations on Crown land for fishing, boating, camping and family daytrips."

Reflections Holiday Parks CEO Nick Baker said positive Tripadvisor reviews reflected the ethos of all Reflections Holiday Parks to care deeply about the guest experience.

"Being rated as a Travellers' Choice on the world's largest online travel guidance platform means people can be secure in the knowledge that a holiday with Reflections will be second to none," Mr Baker said.

"Our staff are committed to providing great holiday experiences and take pride in the great feedback they get from guests. I'm so proud of all our park teams who work incredibly hard to ensure their guests and visitors have an amazing experience." The 22 Reflections Holiday Parks included:

  • New England Region: Copeton Waters (Near Inverell), Lake Keepit (Near Gunnedah and Tamworth)
