Cummins will showcase its new X10 Euro VI engine in Australia for the first time at the 2026 Australasia Bus & Coach Expo, giving local bus and coach operators, original equipment manufacturers and industry stakeholders an opportunity to see the company's next-generation power solution ahead of its planned release in 2027.

The X10 Euro VI has been featured at major bus exhibitions around the world. The clean-sheet engine platform is purpose-built for bus and coach applications and engineered to meet the needs of markets including Australia. Designed to help reduce operating costs, improve fuel efficiency and lower vehicle weight, the X10 Euro VI is intended to deliver a balance of performance, efficiency and durability.

Part of the Cummins HELM™ engine family, the X10 Euro VI features a design without exhaust gas recirculation or a variable geometry turbocharger, with outputs ranging from 265 kilowatts (360 horsepower) to 338 kilowatts (454 horsepower). Producing up to 2,200 newton meters of torque from 1,000 rpm, the engine is engineered to provide the low-speed pulling power, fuel efficiency and durability required by Australian bus operators.
