Customer service counter now open 9am to 4pm

Our friendly staff at 76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham can now assist you with general enquiries between 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday.

Please wear a mask and follow physical distancing guidelines when visiting us at the Customer Service counter.

Some services remain available by phone or online only. This is because we are following Victorian Government restrictions for the public sector – if you can work from home, work from home.

Pet pick-ups

Lost dogs can be collected by appointment directly at the Lost Dogs Home. Please call 9599 4444 if you have lost your dog.

Sharps exchange

For any sharps exchanges, please call our Environmental Health team on (03) 9599 4417 to make an exchange appointment.

Food and green waste bags

Food and green waste bags are available for purchase at your local supermarket as well as the customer service counter. Be sure to make sure they are certified compostable.

Parking permit applications

These can be submitted online here. If you need support or have questions please telephone our Local Laws team on 9599 4626. Approved parking permits will be posted out.

Paying parking fines

You can pay parking fines online here. If you have a dispute please telephone Infringement Review on 9599 4663.

Paying rates

You can pay your rates online here or over the phone by calling 1300 725 338. Council offers a full range of payment offers. If you are experiencing financial hardship please call 9599 4444.

Animal registration

Animals can be registered online. Please call our Local Laws team on 9599 4626 for assistance.

Planning

Planning applications can be filled out online.
