Cyclist Assaulted In Klemzig

Police are investigating an attempted robbery of a cyclist in Klemzig yesterday.

Just before 5.30pm on Wednesday 26 August, police were called to a carpark at the O-Bahn Bus Interchange in OG Road, Klemzig, following reports that a cyclist was being punched and kicked by another man, allegedly trying to steal his bike.

The victim, a 65-year-old Clinton man, suffered minor injuries and did not require medical treatment at the time.

The suspect left the scene before police arrived. He is described as of Caucasian appearance, approximately 183cm, aged about 20, with a medium build and dark hair. He was wearing dark long pants with white stripes down the sides, a dark long-sleeved hoodie and white shoes with orange soles.
