Cyclist Critical After Serious Crash - Sans Souci

A cyclist is in a critical condition following a crash in Sydney's south today.

About 7.20am (Tuesday 9 December 2025), emergency services were called to the intersection of Ramsgate Road and The Promenade, Sans Souci, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to St George Police Area Command attended and found a Toyota ute and a cyclist had collided.

The cyclist – a man believed to be aged in his 40s – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene for serious injuries before being taken to St George Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the ute – a man believed to be aged in his 20s – was uninjured. He was also taken to St George Hospital for mandatory testing.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
