Cyclist Critical After Templestowe Collision

Nunawading Highway Patrol Officers are investigating a collision in Templestowe yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to reports a car and a cyclist had collided at the intersection of Williamsons Road and Atkinson Street about 4.30pm.

The cyclist, a 43-year-old St. Helena man, was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, a 19-year-old Doncaster East man stopped at the scene and is assisting police.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
