Cyclist dies after crash at Goulburn

A cyclist has died in hospital following a crash at Goulburn last week.

About 4pm on Thursday 21 January 2021, emergency services were called after a bicycle travelling on Auburn Street and a utility travelling east Mundy Street collided at the roundabout.

The cyclist, a 40-year-old man, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition, where he died about 4pm on Saturday 23 January 2021.

The driver and sole occupant, a 27-year-old man, was not injured.

Officers from The Hume Police District attended and established a crime scene, which has been examined by forensic police.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
