Police are investigating a fatal collision that claimed the life of a cyclist in Tarneit this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports a semi-trailer collided with a bicycle on Leakes and Derrimut Roads about 10.15am.
The cyclist, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The truck driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
