Dandenong armed robbery

Detectives from Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit are investigating an armed robbery which occurred in Dandenong earlier this week.

Officers have been told a 33-year-old Doveton man had withdrawn cash from an ATM on Thomas Street, Dandenong about 9.20pm on 11 October.

As he returned to his car a man approached him and demanded cash.

He refused and got into his car but two other males entered the vehicle and threatened the victim with a knife.

He was assaulted and had cash and a phone stolen before the offenders ran off.

Investigators have released images and CCTV of two people they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
