Daniel Morash Named Chief Financial Officer and SVP of Finance at Brigham and Women's Hospital

Following a comprehensive national search, Brigham and Women's Hospital has named Daniel Morash, MBA, the new chief financial officer and senior vice president of Finance, effective September 1. In this role, Morash will oversee the finance departments for Brigham and Women's Hospital, the Brigham and Women's Physicians' Organization and Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital.

Morash currently serves as the chief financial officer and senior vice president of the Mass General Physicians' Organization and prior to that, he served in the department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital as Executive Director. He has successfully partnered with colleagues across our system in a variety of ways, including consolidating physician revenue cycle activities, establishing the financial underpinnings for our system-wide enterprise services of Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Anesthesia and Pathology, and mitigating the financial impacts of COVID-19.

Morash earned his BBA from Amherst College and his MBA from MIT Sloan School of Business.

Morash succeeds former CFO and SVP of Finance, Christopher Dunleavy, who left the Brigham last October.
