Police are appealing for information following a serious truck and car crash in the state's south this morning.
About 9.10am today (Tuesday 10 February 2026), emergency services were called to Barham Road, near Lower Thule road, Thule, approximately 30km east of Barham, to find a b-double and a car had collided and flipped onto their sides.
The truck had gone down an embankment and caught alight. The driver was trapped, before being freed by members of the public.
NSW Ambulance treated the 61-year-old male truck driver for serious burns and a head injury before being conveyed to a Melbourne Hospital.
The 56-year-old male driver of the utility was trapped, before being freed and treated for broken arms and ribs, by NSW Ambulance paramedics. He was taken to Echuca Hospital.
Fire and Rescue NSW responded and extinguished the truck fire.
Officers attached to Murray River Police District responded and commenced an investigation, with assistance from the Crash Investigation Unit.
