Dashcam vision appeal: Dangerous driving, North Brisbane

Police are appealing for any motorists who may have dashcam vision after multiple calls were received from members of the public about a white Subaru wagon being driven throughout North Brisbane on Saturday night (March 27).

The car was observed driving southbound on the Gateway Motorway in Boondall around 5.50pm before taking the Nudgee Road exit.

It was then sighted at the intersection of Nudgee Road and Childs Road in Banyo, around 5.55pm, with multiple occupants seen standing through the sunroof.

It is understood to have crashed into a guardrail, after travelling over the Nudgee Road overpass onto Nudgee Road.

It was then observed travelling south on Nudgee Road, where it turned right onto Airport Drive, towards the Airport Link.

The car was seen shortly afterwards travelling northbound along Southern Cross Way where around 7.20pm it dangerously passed traffic and took the Nudgee Service Centre exit.

Police attended the service station at 7.30pm where one of the occupants was charged with being in charge of a vehicle over the general alcohol limit.

Two traffic infringement notices were also issued to a passenger for failing to wear a seatbelt ($400 penalty) and traveling in a vehicle with part of their body outside the window ($133 penalty).

Police are appealing for any motorists who may have dashcam vision in or around the above locations and times, to please contact police.

Inquiries are ongoing.
