Cricket Victoria would like to thank David Hussey for his outstanding contribution to the Victorian men's program after almost four years as Head of Male Cricket.
David's impact on Victorian cricket extends far beyond his time in the role. Across more than two decades as a player, leader, coach and administrator, he has played a significant role in shaping the success and direction of cricket in Victoria.
Cricket Victoria's General Manager of Cricket Performance, Graham Manou, paid tribute to Hussey's outstanding contribution to Victorian cricket.
"David's influence on the organisation and the broader Victorian cricket community is immeasurable. Through his passion for the game, commitment to excellence and investment in people, David has helped strengthen the foundations of our male high-performance program while leaving a lasting legacy across Victorian cricket," said Manou.
During his tenure as Head of Male Cricket, David led the program to four domestic finals appearances, including three Sheffield Shield Finals and one Dean Jones Trophy Final, while continuing to drive high standards, strong culture and sustained performance across the program.
Importantly, David will continue working with Cricket Victoria as he helps establish an exciting new global venture, allowing the organisation to continue benefiting from his experience, leadership and extensive relationships across the game.
