Deakins Campaign Unveils Extraordinary in Everyday

Deakin

From small moments of transformation to big ideas with global impact, Deakin University's new brand campaign, See the Wonderful Possible, invites audiences to look again - and see the potential that exists everywhere.

Launched today, the campaign brings Deakin's brand essence of Wonderful Possibility to life by showcasing powerful real-world stories - from pioneering research to personal achievement and community impact.

Rather than focusing on a single theme, the campaign celebrates the many ways Deakin people are making progress. It's a collection of stories that span disciplines, campuses and cultures - proving that at Deakin, wonderful isn't rare or unreachable. It's happening every day.

The cinematic hero TVC captures these stories through a metaphorical lens that highlights their emotional and societal impact. Whether it's a breakthrough in thunderstorm asthma detection, a mature-age student completing a PhD, or a student breaking barriers to become her community's first nursing graduate - the common thread is possibility; the belief that education and research can shape a better future.

Matt Edge, Chief Marketing Officer at Deakin, says the campaign reflects the optimism and purpose that define the University: 'This is a wonderful glimpse of what's possible when curiosity, optimism and purpose drive education and research, revealing the real impact Deakin people have across communities and lives.'

Created with independent creative agency SICKDOGWOLFMAN, the campaign will appear across TV, cinema, social, digital and outdoor channels nationwide.

Creative Director James Orr explains:

'We were inspired not just by Deakin's big ideas, but by the incredible human stories that show how possibility can emerge in unexpected ways. Our goal was to capture that sense of wonder - not as fantasy, but as something very real and very now.'

As the campaign rolls out, Deakin hopes it sparks pride, curiosity and connection - helping prospective students, industry partners, and the wider community see what's possible when people are empowered to thrive.

Because at Deakin, the Wonderful Possible is everywhere.
