Over five thousand taxi owners in New South Wales have had their equity stripped from their small business, life savings, income and superannuation as a result of this Liberal Government's ill-conceived Taxi reform.
Taxi owners have now seen the equity in their taxi plate franchise reduced by over 80% and their incomes reduced by 65%.
- Banks have declared Taxis have no value and will no longer lend against plates
- Foreclosures, bankruptcies, loss of homes, marriage breakdowns and severe emotional and physical health issues are rife
- Quality of life and living standards have been decimated
