Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
Army Lt. Gen. Thomas M. Carden Jr. for appointment to the grade of general, with assignment as vice chief of the National Guard Bureau, Arlington, Virginia. Carden currently serves as deputy commander, U.S. Northern Command, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.
Army Maj. Gen. Bobby L. Christine for appointment as judge advocate general, U.S. Army, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Christine currently serves as general counsel, National Guard Bureau, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
