We are aware that some recycling bin collections are currently delayed by up to 48 hours. The is due to ongoing driver shortages.
If your recycling bin has not been collected on the day it is supposed to, please leave it out for collection and a replacement driver should empty it within 48 hours.
You only need to report a missed bin collection to us if it has been more than 48 hours since your recycling bin was due to be collected.
If it has been more than 48 hours and for any other missed bin collections, report it to us using our online form on our Report a missed bin collection page and a replacement driver will be sent to your property.
Unfortunately, driver shortages are occurring industry-wide and continue to impact multiple Council areas, Boroondara included.
We continue to work with our contractor, Cleanaway, to find a solution moving forward and thank you for your patience in the meantime.
