Departmental traffic crash, Mermaid Waters

Around 9.25am police from Robina Station were responding to a priority incident in Hospital Boulevard, Southport.

On route to this incident, an Isuzu D-Max marked police vehicle and a Nissan Navara collided at the intersection of Bermuda and Markeri Streets, Mermaid Waters.

Three male police officers aged 32, 35, and 36-years-old were treated at the scene before being transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

The 41-year-old driver and sole occupant of the Nissan was also treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

The injuries are not considered serious.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
