Planning for Sorrento's new coastal precinct is well underway.

Community input into the 2018 Sorrento Coastal and Marine Management Plan inspired the new look and feel of both Webster's Corner and Sullivan's Bay areas along the cultural walk from the ferry terminal to the Western and Eastern Sisters headlands.

Webster's Corner

The Master Plan covers the section of foreshore opposite St Paul's Road. The design includes a new playground, new toilets, interpretative signage, cultural trail, new picnic facilities, shade structures and seating. The design will improve connection to the historic sites and improve user experience through better parking as well as easier access to and through the site.

Sullivan's Bay

The Master Plan covers the old parade ground of the Collins Settlement 1803 between the Western and Eastern Sisters headlands. The design will improve connection to the historic sites and improve user experience through better parking and picnic area layout, new shower and water fountain, interpretative signage, cultural trail, as well as easier access to the site and reflection area.

Construction is expected to start late 2023/early 2024.

The plans are on exhibition from 21 May until 2 July and are now available to view on our website at mornpen.vic.gov.au/sorrentoforeshore

Hard copy forms are available at our Customer Service Centres on request.
