Homicide Squad detectives are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dash cam vision from around Fawkner Park in South Yarra on Friday night to come forward as the investigation into the death of a man continues.
Investigators believe the 41-year-old Carnegie man was shot in Fawkner Park about 7.40pm.
Two firearms have been located within Fawkner Park and are currently being examined by police.
Detectives are particularly keen to obtain any CCTV or dash cam footage that was taken in the north east vicinity of Fawkner Park, Punt Road and Toorak Road East, between 7.30pm and 8pm on Friday night.
