Detectives appeal for witnesses after Shepparton arrest

Shepparton Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have arrested a man following a stalking incident in Shepparton earlier this month.

The incident took place around the Maude Street Mall in the late afternoon of 11 September when the man allegedly approached a number of women and attempted to strike up a conversation with them involving inappropriate requests.

A 22-year-old Shepparton man has been charged with one count of stalking and remanded to appear at the Shepparton Magistrates' Court on 4 October.
