Detectives investigate attempted aggravated burglary and shooting in Taylors Lakes

Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating an attempted aggravated burglary which occurred in Taylors Lakes last night (15 September).

Police have been told three offenders attended at a Robertsons Road property and were disturbed by the home owners about 11.50pm.

The trio, who made demands for the families car keys, discharged a firearm towards two of the victims as they left the scene.

A 21-year old man received a minor injury as a result and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The other man, along with the four other occupants at home at the time of the incident were not injured.
