Yarra Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a ram raid in Collingwood this morning.
It is believed a stolen Hino truck reversed into the front of the newsagency on Smith Street about 5.30am.
The two occupants failed to gain entry into an ATM at the front of the premises before fleeing in a Toyota Hilux east on Johnston Street.
The business was unoccupied at the time and there were no injuries.
The Hino was stolen in Dandenong South on 29 December.
The investigation is ongoing.
