Detectives investigate Frankston aggravated burglary

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an alleged aggravated burglary at an apartment building in Frankston this morning (31 December).

Police were called to the Nepean Highway premises about 9.50am after reports a man had allegedly broken in and assaulted a female occupant.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at the property and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The victim, a 20-year-old woman, was not injured during the incident.

Both parties are believed to be known to each other.

The investigation is ongoing.
