Detectives investigate Nicholson Street robbery

Melbourne Embona Taskforce detectives are appealing for public assistance following a robbery in Melbourne last month.

Investigators have been told a woman was approached by a male and a female as she was walking along Nicholson Street about 6pm on 17 April.

The woman was then assaulted and the offenders took the $250 from the victim.

The pair then fled the scene on foot.

The victim, a 52-year-old Coburg woman, did not require medical treatment.

Detectives have released an image of a woman they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
