Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following an attempted criminal damage incident at Pakenham Police Station yesterday morning., Victoria Police say
It’s believed an unknown offender threw a lit Molotov cocktail over the rear fence and into the carpark of the police station about 1am.
The Molotov ignited on impact with the ground and burned for a short period of time.
No injuries or damage has been reported.
A vehicle was seen driving past the police station in Flinders Chase moments before the incident.
Detectives urge anyone who may have seen the car, anyone near the rear of the police station or anyone who may have information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
