DIARY NOTE: Central West Police District - National Police Remembrance Day 2019

Central West Police District Commander, Acting Superintendent Peter Atkins, will join officers and distinguished guests at St Barnabas Church in Orange for a service to honour fallen police tomorrow (Friday 27 September 2019).

This year marks the 30-year anniversary of National Police Remembrance Day. The service will commemorate the service and sacrifice of 273 members of the NSW Police Force who have lost their lives in the line of duty and through injury or illness since the formation of the NSW Police Force in 1862.

Local school children will be involved in the service, and local media are also invited to attend.
