Digital image released after East Geelong sexual assault

Geelong Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are releasing a digital image after a woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown male in East Geelong last month.

Investigators have been told the woman was alone at a Ryrie Street property when the man entered the building about 9pm on 3 October and sexually assaulted her before leaving the scene.

The male is described as 183cm tall with brown hair and was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and shorts.

Detectives are treating the matter as an isolated incident.

Police are releasing a digitally generated image of a man they believe could assist with their enquiries.
