The CLP Government is encouraging nominations for individuals, organisations and community groups for the Northern Territory Disability Inclusion Awards 2026.

The awards celebrate the achievements of exceptional individuals, organisations, businesses, and programs that demonstrate outstanding commitment to improving the lives of people with disability and fostering inclusion across the Territory.

With seven award categories the nominations close on 28 June and winners will be announced at a ceremony at Parliament House in September.

The Finocchiaro CLP Government is calling on all Territorians to nominate individuals, organisations, businesses and community groups making a positive difference in the lives of people with disability, with nominations now open for the 2026 Northern Territory Disability Inclusion Awards.

Minister for Disability Jinson Charls acknowledged the many Territorians who work every day to make communities more inclusive, accessible and welcoming for people with disability.

"As Minister for Disability, I have been fortunate to meet and work alongside some incredible people living with disability, families, and carers who are making an impact in our community and abroad.

"Awards such as these provide an opportunity for these people to be recognised for their achievements and commitment to improve the lives of Territorians with disability wherever they may live," said Mr Charls.

Now in their 16th year, the Awards recognise leadership, inclusion, innovation and community contribution across the Territory, celebrating those helping to break down barriers and create more accessible and inclusive communities.
