The City of Stonnington's Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee (MEMPC) is seeking expressions of interest from residents to join as community representatives.
Community representatives ensure local knowledge and lived experience inform emergency preparedness, and response and recovery planning, while contributing to the Municipal Emergency Management Plan (MEMP).
The successful candidate will work closely with government and non-government agencies to support the community through the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Municipal Emergency Management Plan (MEMP) within the City of Stonnington.
This role would suit someone with a passion for supporting our local community and have prior experience in community engagement, advocacy, or participation in community-based committees or initiatives.
This is a two-year fixed term voluntary position with the opportunity to apply for an additional one-year term annually thereafter.
