Nunawading Highway Patrol police were left shaking their heads after detecting a car travelling over twice the speed limit in Mount Waverley yesterday evening (19 September)., Victoria Police say
Police detected the 2012 Ford Focus allegedly travelling at 124km/h in a 60 zone on Stevensons Road just before 8.30pm.
Things only got worse for the driver, a 27-year-old Murrumbeena woman, when she tested positive to cannabis.
The car, which didn’t belong to her, was immediately impounded for 30 day at a cost of $932.
She is expected to be charged on summons with numerous speeding and drug driving offences.
