Double Pedestrian Fatality Crash At Tura Beach

Two pedestrians have been killed in a crash in the states south.

About 9.30pm yesterday (Sunday 4 October 2026), emergency services responded to reports that two pedestrians had been struck by a white Nissan Dualis SUV whilst walking along the roadway of Pacific Way, Tura Beach.

The pedestrians – two men aged 70 and 55 – died at the scene.

The 45-year-old female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was uninjured. She was taken to South East Regional Hospital, Bega, for mandatory testing.

Officers from South Coast Police District have established a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police.
