The Property Council of Australia is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Adele Lausberg as Executive Director of the Student Accommodation Council (SAC), following an extensive recruitment process supported by SAC President, Anouk Darling.
Dr Lausberg brings a wealth of experience in policy, advocacy and stakeholder engagement, having held senior roles across federal politics, peak membership associations and academia.
She rejoins the Property Council after serving as Chief Advocacy Officer at Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia, where she led campaigns to improve regulatory and policy environments for industry members.
Her career also includes significant contributions to the medical and tourism sectors, as well as previous roles as Policy Manager in the Capital Markets Division and Interim ACT Executive Director at the Property Council.
Adele will commence her new role in Sydney in early 2026, joining the National Advocacy team and bringing energy, strategic nous, an understanding of the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) sector, tax and investment settings and the needs of Property Council members.
