Council endorsed the draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2026-2030 and approved its placement on public exhibition for 28 days to seek community feedback, with a further report to be provided following the exhibition period. The DIAP is required under the Disability Inclusion Act 2014, which mandates councils to outline how they will improve access to services and support full community participation for people with disability. Developed in collaboration with Orange City and Blayney councils, the plan incorporates local consultation with staff, department leaders and the community, and includes measurable actions aligned to council programs and strategies.
