A drink driver collided with a parked car at Glenunga overnight.
Police were called to Bevington Road, Glenunga just before midnight on Monday 17 August by reports of a collision.
A Volkswagen station wagon crashed into a Great Wall station wagon parked on the street. It will be alleged the driver of the Volkswagen left the scene prior to police arrival.
Police tracked the alleged driver down at his nearby home address. The 28-year-old Glenunga man was not injured but recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.122.
He was reported for drink driving, aggravated driving without due care, breaching the conditions of his probationary licence and failing to stop at the scene of a crash and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
He was issued with a six-month instant loss of licence.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
