A speeding drink driver was pulled over by police at Hallett Cove last night.
Just before 8pm, Wednesday 22 April, police spotted a Toyota ute on Lonsdale Road, Hallett Cove, speeding at 151 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.
The car was stopped, and the driver recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.170 - over three times the legal limit.
Also of concern to police, a child was a passenger in the car.
The 44-year-old Christies Beach man was reported for drink driving, aggravated speeding and driving under the influence with a child passenger.
He was issued a 12-month loss of licence and his vehicle impounded. He will be summonsed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court at a later date.
